Enjoy spring in Holden’s gardens

The gardens come alive with color in the spring, and May is the perfect time to tour Holden’s gardens

Whether you are looking for a seasonal pick-me-up after a long, cold winter; inspiration for your own home gardening projects; or the opportunity to learn a little more about the plants that thrive in Holden’s gardens, our spring garden tours are a great opportunity to see the gardens with an expert guide.

From the diverse plantings at Lantern Court to the rare opportunity to see the results of years of rhododendron hybridizing efforts at the David G. Leach Research Station, there is so much to see and do at Holden this spring.

This year, Holden will also be visiting a beautiful garden created by one of its neighbors. Come along and take advantage of this unique opportunity to tour a private garden with Tom Buchter, Holden’s director of horticulture, and discover how to create a successful garden of your own. See Creating a Successful Garden below.
