Volunteer Receptionists Year-Round
  • On-the-job training
  • Strong communication skills
  • Clerical experience helpful
As needed only, 4 hrs per shift Greet guests and answer phones at the Cooper Administration Building. Volunteers may also assist with clerical tasks such as data entry, copying, filing etc. during shift.

2-4 hrs every month, weekends

Create a proactive, positive interface with the Holden guest to facilitate good guest relations and guest safety and security, as well as promoting Holden and providing basic nature or garden interpretation

Parking Attendant

  • Ability to engage in moderate outdoor activity
  • On-the-job training

4-6 hr shift during at least one major event per year (typically weekends)

Assist Holden police and other staff with parking of vehicles and related guest relations during major special events.

May also provide young adults (17-23) interested in the safety/security or law enforcement profession hands-on experience and mentoring opportunities.
