| Description | Sticks, stones, mud, leaves, holes and trees. These are just a few of the items the forest provides. Join one of our staff and venture out into a forest playground. We will find the woods a wondrous place and we will bring along a few items such as shovels, buckets and twine. Once we get there we will see what a child's imagination can come up with. The goal is unstructured play that encourages imagination, discovery, observation and creativity. Accompanying adults are encouraged to sit back and enjoy watching the kids do what they do best when they are given the time and the right location. Bring a snack and drink in case the kids get hungry. Stay for as long as you want and leave when you must. |

| Description | Do you like gigantic boulders, narrow passageways and pools of water? If so, Little Mountain is the perfect place to explore if you don't mind getting wet and dirty. Join us as we search for clues of a time gone by, such as the old spring house and discover names carved into rocks more than 100 years ago. Each family member must be able to walk up steep hills and hike for two miles. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate foot gear for some wet walking. |

| Description | Do you like cold streams, waterfalls, walls of towering rock and crayfish? If so, Stebbins Gulch is the perfect place to explore if you don't mind getting wet and dirty. Join us as we travel back in time and into the stream. We'll search for crayfish, climb a waterfall and locate rock layers from earlier times. You might even find a fossil or stone carving. Bring a sense of adventure, waterproof boots and a change of clothes. Each family member must be able to walk up steep hills and hike for two miles, often times in the creek. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate foot gear with good tread for some wet walking. |

We will also discover how animals use their senses to interact with plants. We will then complete an exciting scavenger hunt, in search of animals, plants, colors, smells and sounds. |

| Description | Do you like walking in water, catching frogs and building dams in streams? If so, Pierson Creek is the perfect place to explore if you don't mind getting wet, really wet. Join us as we travel down the creek by walking in the creek to see where it ends up. We'll search for frogs, try and catch the elusive crayfish, and follow all the twists and turns the water makes as we go over and under logs to reach our final destination. Bring a sense of adventure, waterproof boots and a change of clothes. Each family member must be able to walk down steep hills and hike for two miles, often times in the creek.
