Fridays in the Garden

When:  First and Third Friday each month, 10am – 11:30am
Who: All ages
Cost:  Free with admission
Where: Start at the Warren H. Corning Visitor Center

We have many exciting programs in the months ahead. More to come, check back for program updates. Meetings start with light refreshments and conversation, followed by a presentation or walk with the experts.  No need for reservations. Dress for the weather/terrain and bring your cameras or binoculars.

Due to Holden events, there will only be one program in July.

4th Friday

July 23

Explore the ethnobotany of trees with Rick Hederstrom. You'll have fun in this program and leave thinking about trees in a very different way. After an intro to ethnobotany (the relationship between people and plants) you will learn how Native Americans used trees for food, medicine and needed products and how our society today uses trees. This will be an outdoor walk (weather permitting) so wear proper shoes.
Please contact Anna Pavisich at 440.602.8006 if you have any questions.
