Woodland 5K Run

This 5K fun run/walk for health raises money for Holden's wellness and educational programming. The course is fast and covers asphalt as well as well-groomed, smooth trails with a few slight hills. It allows participants to experience the natural beauty of several of the Holden Arboretum's trails while supporting a good cause.  Advance registration is strongly encouraged.

A Summer Soiree

Enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a French country market filled with silent auction items, entertainment, dinner under the big tent and a live auction. Proceeds will benefit the conservation of Holden’s native forests.

Woofstock 2009

Join us for this day-long, outdoor dog and family frestival, which will include an organized dog walk, live music, animal friendly vendors, an agility course, games and children’s activities. Goblins in the Garden

Visit the Holden Arboretum for an afternoon of family-friendly fun. We can't wait to see your little goblins in costume for some daylight, garden trick-or-treating. A complete list of harvest activity details will be announced as the event date draws near. It's sure to be a boo-tiful day!

 

 

Gifts from the Heart of Nature

The beauty of Northeastern Ohio provides the inspiration for handcrafted gifts available during this unique exhibit and sale. Celebrate nature’s splendor and the gift of each artisan’s creativity during the opening evening or come in and browse throughout the show. Gifts from the Heart of Nature promotes regional artists with nature inspired works and crafts made from environmentally responsible materials.

Deepwood Foundation's 13th Annual Strides of March- 5K Run and Walk

When:

Warren H. Corning Visitor Center

 

The 3.1 mile race course winds along beautiful Sperry Road through The Holden Arboretum. The out and back course is fully paved and is slightly hilly. Sperry Road will be closed for the duration of the race to ensure the utmost safety of the participants.

 

All proceeds from the Strides of March 5K Race will benefit children and adults with mental retardation and developmental disabilities.
