Volunteers at the Holden Arboretum are a precious resource, making our programs and services possible. Volunteers bring their energy, knowledge and style to the Arboretum and make each guest’s visit fresh and unique.

The Arboretum has 3,500 acres of volunteer opportunities to explore. Whether in our gardens, our natural areas, our visitor center or our offices, there is a way for you to give back to your community, meet people with similar interests, learn new skills and have fun! Our orientation and training provide new volunteers with the tools to be successful, and on-going social and educational opportunities keep it fresh.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us. Because the Holden Arboretum is currently closed to the public, all volunteer activities have been suspended. Volunteer recruiting will resume once we return to normal operations. Please check back to learn more about how you can support Holden Forests & Gardens through volunteer opportunities at our campuses.
